Obesity and the Kidney

We are currently facing an alarming obesity epidemic, with its well-known health consequences such as metabolic syndrome/type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, an increased incidence of certain types of cancer, musculoskeletal disorders and pulmonary diseases.
