Vitamins in the prevention of human diseases

Vitamins - especially B- and D-vitamins - influence the development and outcome of many neurodegenerative and other diseases. Among others, dementia, neural tube defects, epilepsy, and osteoporoses can be caused by vitamin deficiency.
